The My Life Project gets students to think about their future–typically their career–as a motivating force for course content. Once your students are thinking of their own lives, the assignments will be more meaningful. The first month of student research will have nothing to do with course content. The students can indulge themselves in their dreams. Then you show them how to achieve their dreams using your course content.
